I am an Occupational Therapist and working within the Clinical Advisory Services team. In May 2023, I moved from Whangarei to Hamilton with my husband and our pets. Although it's been a while since I've been in the Waikato, Hamilton is my hometown and living closer to extended family will be a new and positive experience.
I have had over 20 years’ experience working with ACC clients, mainly those with serious injuries such as spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Prior to joining Enable New Zealand in November 2022, for more than 15 years I worked as an ACC assessor in Northland and specialised in housing modifications, wheelchair and seating and other complex equipment prescription. I really enjoyed these years travelling around the rural and remote areas of Northland and at times, the wide variety of transport modes that were required e.g. boats, all-terrain vehicles, tractors etc.
I enjoy learning about new and innovative adaptive equipment, and problem-solving with assessors to develop innovative equipment solutions for their ACC clients. Our team can offer support and guidance in the prescription of rehabilitation equipment, and I look forward to working with you for the benefit of your clients.
